Most remakes are pretty lousy (being there are three previous versions of this film), but 'A Star is Born' 4.0 is stellar! Well done, Team Cooper!

Beautifully written, shot and performed. One of those rare remakes or reinterpretations of a classic that actually surpasses its predecessor(s). I imagine it was a very large bite to chew for director Bradley Cooper but you'd never know it watching this impeccably paced mix between dark and light, music and silence, humor and pathos.
