Welcome to gofobo, an online community for movie fans to interact with movies through advance movie screenings, promotions, contests, sweepstakes and special events. Gofobo (“GFB”) is committed to giving you a great online experience while protecting your information. This Privacy Policy applies to our website, www.gofobo.com (the “Site”), and any of our mobile websites or applications (each an “App”) and governs data collection and usage. “Service(s)” refers to GFB’s services accessed via the Site or any App. The terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to GFB. “You” refers to you, as a user of our Site or our Service. This Privacy Policy also explains how GFB may use and share your information, as well as how you may control certain uses of it. At Gofobo, we take your privacy seriously. Our site may request users to provide contact, demographic and/or personal information (such as their name, location, gender, age and e-mail address). The demographic information is used to enhance user experience so we can be more content-specific. The contact information is used to notify users of new content and for surveys and newsletters, via e-mail. Personal information that is collected is used primarily for in-house statistics, advertising and marketing information. Gofobo collects the users' ZIP codes to provide specific theatre and event demographics in their areas.

Like every website, Gofobo’s servers automatically and temporarily store the following information in the server log files. This information is provided by your browser, unless you have deactivated the function.
The server log files may be periodically analyzed to measure the traffic through our servers, the number of pages visited, and the level of demand for pages and topics of interest.

Some e-mails that are sent, such as "Screening Updates" and " Event Reminder," are automatically generated because you have participated in a contest and/or downloaded a ticket for a movie screening. By participating in a contest or downloading a free ticket, you agree to receive these e-mails even if you have previously opted out of our e-mail list.
Many of our events will provide a refer-a-friend feature that allows you to forward the event information to friends. When you choose to refer a friend, we will send a single preformatted e-mail to the addresses you enter indicating that it is a message from you.
Inviting friends to gofobo is always completely optional. When you choose to invite friends, we will send an e-mail to the addresses you enter, indicating that it is a message from you. We will share your name and e-mail address with anyone you invite so that they know who the invitation is coming from. If a friend does not respond to the initial invitation after a little while, we will send up to two reminder messages on your behalf.
For your convenience, gofobo may offer the ability to import e-mail addresses from common address books such as Hotmail/Yahoo!/Gmail/AOL. If you choose to use this feature, we will access your address book using the log-in details that you provide. We access your address book only once to retrieve your friends' information so that you may select whom to invite. We do not store your log-in details nor do we use them for any other purpose than to retrieve your contacts. We never send invitations to contacts you do not explicitly select, and your invitations are the only e-mail we will ever send to your friends unless they register to join the site.
If you are under age eighteen, you should use the Services only with parental guidance.
The Services are not aimed at or intended for children under the age of thirteen. We do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of thirteen through the Services.
