This was a brilliant film. It was very hard for me to watch, as a Jew who had many of my relatives slaughtered in the camps. But I am so grateful to the filmmaker for making it. I can’t even imagine the depths of his resolve in order to approach his grandparents’ murderers the way he did — to approach them at all, really, but especially with such humanity & such commitment to finding the truth. \r\rThat truth, I have to admit, was NOT what I thought I was getting myself into when I decided to watch this film. I knew it wouldn’t be easy, of course, but I fully excepted it to be a story of redem
