As an American, it was illuminating to witness the range of acceptance and ownership in the hearts and minds of the subjects as they moved through their memories to find the truth within themselves. Maybe this film could inspire white Americans struggling with benefiting from systemic racism, and possibly having ancestors in the slave trade, or the Jim Crow era. It's a sad truth that antisemitism, racism, xenophobia, is still alive and well. This documentary is a reminder of what is at stake if we continue to turn away from uncomfortable truths. \r

The documentary was excellent and I highly recommend that everyone should watch it!!! I found it very interesting that the Germans who were interviewed in the film showed their true colors at the end of the film!
