The Man Who Invented Christmas tells the magical journey that led to the creation of Ebenezer Scrooge (Christopher Plummer), Tiny Tim and other classic characters from A Christmas Carol. Directed by Bharat Nalluri (Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day), the film shows how Charles Dickens (Dan Stevens) mixed real life inspirations with his vivid imagination to conjure up unforgettable characters and a timeless tale, forever changing the holiday season into the celebration we know today.

I never really new the story of Charles Dickens or A Christmas Carol...it was great to see. Thanks for the opportunity!
I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving us the opportunity to view another amazing movie by Elevation Pictures. The Man Who Invented Christmas is a brilliant adaptation of how Charles Dickens wrote his beloved book, A Christmas Carol. This will become a wonderful FAMILY movie that will be watched for many years to come. Sincerely,Lee Elder
What a wonderful movie. Sure to be a must see every year at Christmas. Wonderful story, excellent acting and great insight into the workings of a writers mind.
This movie could well become one of the new perennial Christmas movies
Dan Stevens did a wonderful job
This is an excellent movie, soon to be a Christmas Classic. The personal experiences of the writer brought the Christmas Story to life, both on paper and with his own family. The acting was excellent, with lavish scenes of London and a wonderful and varied cast of characters, with a sprinkling of humor and the absurd.
I really liked it. It was probably the best movie i have seen this year.

Thoroughly loved it! Would love to know if it is based on true events or just made up? Of course, if real it would be less the imagining of people looking so real, of course. I highly recommend that others go see this.
