In Sony Pictures Animation's THE STAR, a small but brave donkey named Bo yearns for a life beyond his daily grind at the village mill. One day he finds the courage to break free, and finally goes on the adventure of his dreams. On his journey, he teams up with Ruth, a lovable sheep who has lost her flock and Dave, a dove with lofty aspirations. Along with three wisecracking camels and some eccentric stable animals, Bo and his new friends follow the Star and become accidental heroes in the greatest story ever told – the first Christmas.

The Star was an awesome movie in explaining the first Christmas to everyone not just little ones. I took my 21 year old, 17 year old daughter and 13 year old niece and all of which really enjoyed the movie hoping there will be a second movie. At first the girls weren't too sure how cool or great the movie would be but turned out fantastic.

Our family loved it! I loved the creative storytelling of the oldest story ever told. The voice cast was fantastic, the characters were engaging, and the story of the first Christmas seemed true and not diluted. Our little ones adored Dave the Dove. The one sour note for us was - why Joel Osteen?? Many thanks for the free passes! We've already recommended this movie to friends.

My child is 2.5 years old. This was his first time in a movie theater. The movie captured his attention the entire time. He was able to relay some of the basic principles to my husband when we got home. I would definitely recommend this movie to friends and family with little ones.

The movie was visually beautiful. The message and story was easy to understand without being preachy. The way the story was told doesn’t make it offensive to non Christian. The songs could have been longer because they added to the action within the movie.

I took my kids 4 and 2 years old to watch the movie, both liked it!!! There is a part that was a little scary for them, but they learned that you can change if you want and it did not looked scary any more. Great Movie!!!

We saw the trailer and it was the perfect movie for my son's (22 months) 1st time in the theater. I can tell he enjoyed the movie a lot. I highly recommend this movie to everyone. BTW thank you for the goodies the kids got... The movie poster, color pencils and pin were all a great plus!
