AMERICAN ASSASSIN follows the rise of Mitch Rapp (Dylan O’Brien) a CIA black ops recruit under the instruction of Cold War veteran Stan Hurley (Michael Keaton). The pair is then enlisted by CIA Deputy Director Irene Kennedy (Sanaa Lathan) to investigate a wave of apparently random attacks on both military and civilian targets. Together the three discover a pattern in the violence leading them to a joint mission with a lethal Turkish agent (Shiva Negar) to stop a mysterious operative (Taylor Kitsch) intent on starting a World War in the Middle East.

This movie is the best action/ thriller movie I have seen thus far. I already started telling friends, coworkers, and family members. This is a must see.
I feel that this movie portrayed the book very well. And Dylan O' Brien, Michael Keaton and Taylor Kitsch did an amazing job in their roles. Kept me on the edge of my seat. But on the other hand, I wish Scott Adkins had a bigger role in this movie with him using more of his martial arts talent I felt that his character should not have been played by him, just because he has so much more to offer.
Very good movie with great plot twists, amazing cast and appropriate amount of action. Looking forward to the sequel!
Tap rated action throughout!!! intense one of the best movie I've seen this year!!!
Great action sequences! A lot was filmed in 1 shot, which I love! The cast really did a great job! Dylan O’brien convinced me that he can play ANY role. Michael Keaton was just what the movie needed !
Movie was thrilling from beginning to end with lots of great action scenes. This movie puts Dylan O'Brien in a role that most people aren't used to seeing but he did his part very well
Great, Action Packed, Revenge Film! I was on the edge of my seat the whole time!
