After Gloria (Anne Hathaway) loses her job and is kicked out of her boyfriend’s apartment, she leaves her life in New York and move back to her hometown. When news reports surface that a giant creature is destroying Seoul, Korea, Gloria gradually comes to the realization that she is somehow connected to this far-off phenomenon. It is a great performance from Anne Hathaway and Jason Sudeikis but the storyline is weak and there can be a little bit more storyline behind the appearance of the monsters. And seriously, the military did not try to attack it?!

the movie was really rather good, thumbs up... the script must be terrific, if only they had a Transformers budget it'd be a blockbust ! Hathaway kinda stunk tho, perhaps Zooey Deschanel would have been better...
