Bold, breathless and wickedly fun, Free Fire is an electrifying comedy-thriller about an arms deal that goes spectacularly and explosively wrong. Acclaimed filmmaker Ben Wheatley (Kill List, High Rise) propels the audience head-on into quite possibly the most epic shootout ever seen on film as he crafts a spectacular parody—and biting critique—of the insanity of gun violence. Everyone’s got a gun, and absolutely no one is in control. Set in a colorful yet gritty 1970s Boston, Free Fire opens with Justine (Oscar® winner Brie Larson), a mysterious American businesswoman, and her wise-cracking associate Ord (Armie Hammer) arranging a black-market weapons deal in a deserted warehouse between IRA arms buyer Chris (Cillian Murphy) and shifty South African gun runner Vernon (Sharlto Copley). What starts as a polite if uneasy exchange soon goes south when tensions escalate and shots are fired, quickly leading to a full-on Battle Royale where it’s every man (and woman) for themselves.

A well done movie that speaks out against gun violence with wry humour and an impeccable cast. Full of non- stop action. Twists and turns. Be prepared for a blast.
Very good movie, has lots of fun and different characters.
Free Fire had constant action, excitement, laughs and was what I needed to unbusy my head for an evening.
Fun movie. Throw 12 great character actors in a warehouse full of guns and watch the madness ensue.
It's the type of movie that Quentin Tarantino would enjoy, if you like movies like reservoir dogs you will enjoy this movie
Hilarious shoot-em-up reminiscent of Reservoir Dogs. Great movie when things start to go wrong.
Not what I expected but entertaining.

A dark comedy within an action flick. Probably one of the funniest shootouts I've seen on film in a very long time. Sharlto Copely, Arlie Hammer and Jack Treynot were easily my favourites. I've enjoyed Ben Wheatley's previous work and this continues his winning streak.
