Loved the performance!
Great acting and camera work. Nice to see a Canadian story on the big screen.
this film is still staying with us even the next day. Truly wonderful acting and the story is so very moving on many different levels. The scenery is totally stunning and plays as important a role as the actors. Just loved it and am recommending it to all my friends.
It was really a lovely movie! Very heart-warming.
The movie was absolutely fabulous, from the plot, to the acting, to the landscape, and the music. Sally Hawkins is a sure win for an Oscar with her performance in the movie. A Must see.
It was great! Both actors did a wonderful job portraying this rugged yet heart warming relationship.

After not being sure about the film for the first 10 minutes, I became totally immersed in the story of Maud Lewis. I thought the acting and script were quite good and the scenic shots of Nova Scotia quite beautiful. I was very glad to learn more about the story of Maud Lewis and how this woman, despite her debilitating arthritis and eventually emphysema was able to find so much joy in her life.
