After not being sure about the film for the first 10 minutes, I became totally immersed in the story of Maud Lewis. I thought the acting and script were quite good and the scenic shots of Nova Scotia quite beautiful. I was very glad to learn more about the story of Maud Lewis and how this woman, despite her debilitating arthritis and eventually emphysema was able to find so much joy in her life.
