WOW! What an amazing night. Gary Oldman is unreal in this role - he looks and acts EXACTLY like Churchill. Really compelling story not commonly known, expertly shot and told.

Gary Oldman completely sinks himself into this role and sets the bar for future adaptations of Winston Churchill. The script is beautifully crafted from start to finish but is its most strongest when exposing Churchill in his little moments where he seems most human. To add a cherry on top, it's probably the most British film I've ever seen.

I was honestly shocked in the best way possible (coming from not a history person)... already recommending it to friends. Wonderful film! Truly.

The film was long and boring. I am a Churchill fan and think the film did not show his great intellect or otherwise do him justice. I know that he was fond of booze but the amount of alcohol he consumed in that film would have floated the Queen Mary .It is a good film to show people who have little knowledge of the WW2 era but it may not hold their interest for all of 2 hours.

It was inspiring, uplifting, and down right courageous against all odds.

Well done!

I loved this movie in so many ways.Gary Oldman was unrecognizable, as he masterfully enveloped into Winston Churchill. I especially enjoyed meeting Winston Churchill's granddaughter.

The acting was very good. I felt like I was watching Churchill instead of an actor. The dramatization felt like it was true to the actual time and events.
