Tony Webster, divorced and retired, leads a reclusive and relatively quiet life. One day, he learns that the mother of his university girlfriend, Veronica, left in her will a diary kept by his best friend who dated Veronica after she and Tony parted ways. Tony’s quest to recover the diary, now in Veronica’s possession, forces him to revisit his flawed recollections of his friends and of his younger self. As he digs deeper into his past, it all starts to come back; the first love, the broken heart, the deceit, the regrets, the guilt... Can Tony bear to face the truth and take responsibility for the devastating consequences of actions he took so long ago?

This is an amazing movie, I loved it.Great job
excellent
Great acting and unique story.
Perfectly cast. Great story. Music score perfectly complimented the film.
A very well made movie, with a story of lives woven together, and each one learning their lesson of how one's often impulsive actions bear unexpected fruit... about trying to redeem oneself and to take stock of one's relationships. Mature audiences of all ages will love this film. Great actors who all cast very lifelike characters! My friend and I both loved every moment of it!
Awesome. Loved the movie. Kept me thinking. Loved the twisted story and going from current to past to fill you in.
The movie was powerful. Broadbent did a fantastic job in the lead role. I thought the juxtaposition between past and present were wonderful. The acting, superb. The pace was just right. I highly recommend this movie.
