After the cataclysmic events in New York with his fellow Avengers, Steve Rogers, aka Capt. America (Chris Evans), lives in the nation's capital as he tries to adjust to modern times. The movie was beautifully executed! It was inventive and humbling. This was a movie worth my time and it made me reflect on my own life. I especially adored the Question and Answer session with the director of the film! He has so much raw talent and insight! This somewhat felt like a love and / or coming of age story between two YOUNG boys! We certainly need to do a better job of loving, educating, and respecting our young men ; especially black males!!!!

The cinematography was unique. I love that it was in first person. It captures the emotions of the characters. I felt what they felt. It's a hard story to tell but definitely worth watching.

I thought it was a very good movie. It was a bit hard to follow with the change in perspective between the 2 main characters but I got used to that. It's crazy how recent stuff like this was happening.

Usually i'm not a fan of films shot entirely this way but after the first 15 minutes or so, i really felt it. The POV wasn't used as some kind of gimmick but it most definitely elevated the way in which the viewer connected to the film. We see ourselves in these characters shoes. We see through the growing eyes of a kid into adulthood to see that the world isn't what his grandma has made it out to be. From youthful yearning to disappointment and heartbreak, it takes us from examining the history to living in it, a very strong and unique perspective.
