The subject matter is completely relevant to today with everything from employment, dreams deffered, parenting, relationship challenges, infidelity, external family matters, friendships, honesty, and truth. Denzel Washington's direction was superb and the acting was some of the best I have seen from an entire cast in years. 4.85 stars out of 5.

This movie definitely should be nominated for an Oscar, and win it…picture of the year. Viola Davis should definitely win Best Actress…she played the role of Rose, like no other!!!
