Chronicles the making of Bruce Springsteen’s 1982 “Nebraska” album when he was a young musician on the cusp of global superstardom, struggling to reconcile the pressures of success with the ghosts of his past. Recorded on a 4-track recorder in Springsteen’s New Jersey bedroom, the album marked a pivotal time in his life and is considered one of his most enduring works—a raw, haunted acoustic record populated by lost souls searching for a reason to believe.

It’s a tremendous movie. Deeply moving and understanding of the time in the situation that Bruce Springsteen was going through during the making of Nebraska. It opens up a greater understanding of both him as a human being and a musician.
Great Movie!
Very well done \rGreat music and fascinating story of a legend.
This movie gives you a glimpse of Bruce Springsteen’s battle with severe depression and trying to self medicate himself through his album. The songs he wrote during that time, really connects the viewer to what was really was happening to him mentally and emotionally at that time in his life.
Jeremy Allen White is Bruce Springsteen
I really enjoyed this movie. Jeremy Allen White's portrayal of Springsteen was phenomenal. This wasn't your typical drug addiction and betrayal type of rockstar movie. The storyline was authentic and really showed the importance of addressing mental health, especially in the music industry.
I enjoyed the story and the acting.
