Agathe (Camille Rutherford) is a hopelessly clumsy yet charming young woman who works in the legendary Shakespeare & Co. bookshop in Paris. While she dreams of being a successful writer and of experiencing love akin to a Jane Austen novel, she finds herself desperately single and plagued by writers block. When her best friend (Pablo Pauly) gets her invited to the Jane Austen Writers' Residency in England, she finally has her Jane Austen moment…and is caught in a very unexpected romantic triangle.

It's a very sweet film -- funny and slightly serious at the same time. Didn't mind the French in the movie. I saw that the audience liked it a lot and laughed at points throughout.
It was a cute movie, made me appreciate slow pace and having scenes that end instead of scenes being cut to jump to the next one
This was a lovely film! Light hearted and funny. Any Jane Austen fan would enjoy it.
Nice comedy that you can enjoy with friends.
A sweet movie and I was surprised at how funny it was! There was good chemistry between the actors and it made for pleasant entertainment. If you’re a Jane Austen fan, a bookworm, or just a romantic at heart, then you will appreciate the story. My only criticism is that the movie was so atmospheric and drawn out in some instances (a good thing), that the ending felt quite abrupt in comparison.
