Such a tense 90 minute retelling of this childhood memory. Considering everything it DOESN'T show, it'a amazing how emotional it made me. I was frequently shaking and in tears. 900 million viewers!

Palestinian Freedom Fighters! BDS BDS BDS!
A very powerful retelling of the Israeli hostage crisis at the 1972 Munich Olympics as told through the eyes of the ABC Sports team covering the games. The story and performances were gripping, especially Peter Sarsgaard as Roone Arledge and Leonie Benesch as Marianne Gebhardt, the only German speaker in the control room. Her translation skills were critical to the coverage. Don't miss it.
The 5 stars is based on the 15-20 mins we saw. The audience didn't finish it. It kept lagging and after the 3rd time, they didn't play it. The gofobo team said they would reach out to us with another opportunity. Womp womp.\r
It is a powerful event in history told from a new perspective: the ABC Sports team. \rThe way they struggle with the chaotic situation to get verified information on the air, how to balance reporting with not making it worse. Very well done indeed.
