From producer James Wan (“The Conjuring”) comes a tale of an unknown terror that lurks in the dark. When Rebecca left home, she thought she left her childhood fears behind. Growing up, she was never really sure of what was and wasn’t real when the lights went out…and now her little brother, Martin, is experiencing the same unexplained and terrifying events that had once tested her sanity and threatened her safety. A frightening entity with a mysterious attachment to their mother, Sophie, has reemerged. But this time, as Rebecca gets closer to unlocking the truth, there is no denying that all their lives are in danger…once the lights go out.

Just when horror movies were starting to feel a little stale, lights out came in and did something fun, unique, and best of all, scary! Lights out is one of my favourite horror movies that has come out in the past few years, and the most fun I've had at a horror movie in quite some time. If you like horror movies, I'd say it's a must see!
I don't usually like this type of movie.Movie was fantastic. Very entertaining and enjoyable.
Terrifying! Leaves you with anxiety!
Great suspense thriller! Feasts upon some of your most basic childhood fears about the dark and other spooky areas. Has a deeper underlying meaning mental illness issues and how much of the public perceives those have them. Loved it!
Awesome! It was hair raising and had me on the edge of my seat!
