Kate Wyler (Keri Russell) is the new US Ambassador to the United Kingdom. She was supposed to go to Afghanistan. She’s great in a crisis zone. In a historic home… less so. War is brewing on one continent and boiling over on another. Kate will have to diffuse international crises, forge strategic alliances in London, and adjust to her new place in the spotlight — all while trying to survive her marriage to fellow career diplomat and political star Hal Wyler (Rufus Sewell). From showrunner Debora Cahn (THE WEST WING, HOMELAND), THE DIPLOMAT is a high-stakes, contemporary political drama about the transcendence and torture of long-term relationships, between countries and people. Also starring David Gyasi, Ali Ahn, Rory Kinnear, and Ato Essandoh, with executive producers Debora Cahn, Janice Williams, and Keri Russell.

I love this show can wait for the full series on Netflix. It was funny and had a little of everything. Keri Russell is a trip I love her character and the cast did really well. I recommend 100% 5
This new series started out with the hits and turns and definitely some shocking surprises but most of all I just knew I wanted to continue to watch. If the first episode is this good. I could only imagine how great the next episodes will be.
The show was great, good writing, tongue in cheek humor and a good show. The wait to get in was cruel. 40 degree NYC evening and we were asked to stand in line for about an hour in the windy cold. My wife caught the sniffles and could not enjoy the premier as she just felt sick, and as we were on the balcony most people coughing, so it may have been the wait in the wind.
Looks like really interesting series.. Im going to watch more after this first one installment. Good acting, credible scenes, and fast moving.
Really good casting and well redacted
The show is funny with some drama. I was pleasantly surprised by the cliffhanger.
Hilarious. I love that story of sarcastic, wise character.
