What do Donna Summer, Parliament, Gladys Knight, The Isley Brothers, The Village People, and Bill Withers all have in common with the rock band KISS? They all rose to their musical heights under the watchful ear of the music industry's most colorful and brilliant music producer, Neil Bogart, founder of Casablanca Records, the most successful independent record company of all time. Along with a rag tag team of young music lovers, Neil and Casablanca Records would rewrite history and change the music industry forever. Their mix of creative insanity, a total belief in each other and the music they were creating, shaped our culture and ultimately defined a generation. In a story so unbelievable that it can only be true, comes the motion picture event of the musical journey of Neil Bogart and how his Casablanca Records created the greatest soundtrack of our lives.

It was based on the life of Neil who wanted a better life for his family and artists he met along the way good and sad since he died so young and battled drug addiction as well. The singers from the 80’s any kiss were pretty good.
Fun and entertaining! Brings me back to the 70’s and the music choice was on point ! Nice to learn about the person that made it possible for everyone to enjoy the talent of those music legends!
It brought it all together, the music and the artist
It is a different movie, similar to an autobiography of making history in music industry and the rise and fall of Casablanca and singers like Donna Summers and KISS that will stay forever in the history of music by creating unprecedented unique sounds.
Fabulous
Inspiring, funky, sexy, funny. Great acting, great costumes, great music!
Every single minute of this movie is pure pleasure, the acting, the music, the stories behind the music, getting to hear the music we all love. It’s got every single thing, and 2 pretty compelling very real love stories. Spinning Gold will be impossible to top.

This flick was lots of fun. At times it tries too hard to be dramatic, but other than that the film was charming and informative.
