Great performances! It conjures up beautifully what it was like to be a 6th grader on the cusp of the Reagan era.

Great

Poignant, gripping, riveting story with many themes - grandfather/grandson relationship; the juxtaposition of racism and anti-Semeticism; family dynamics, child abuse, and class dynamics in education.

This is a well made film. Excellent acting and great directing, definitely best film nominee for the Oscar’s

A really moving and accurate representation of trying to make it in America as children and grandchildren of immigrants. And the tragic challenges of trying to make it add a young black man without results or support. A very powerful film.

It's a good time/period piece that is dimensional in perspective. The father makes a brief reference to the film being a "triangle". \r\rAt the end of the film you find yours self with an ending that can be observed as 3 sides of a pyramid. Almost even a your side, my side, and the truth sort of reference. \r\rIn all actuality, it's the square base of the pyramid (or when you put all the sides together) that evens all the angles you gathered in the film.\r\rMakes your wonder if the angle you lean towards the most personally is the right angle for today's society?\r

Excellent movie. Very thought provoking and raw. It truly depicts the harsh reality of race and class privilege in the US. Great acting from everyone. Anthony Hopkins was great.

I enjoyed The movie
