Great film.

Beautifully shot. Cate Blanchett is a powerhouse hitting just the right notes.

A brilliant, bold meditation on The Art Life—what is sacrificed, what is ignored, what is lost and gained. This is as close to perfect as a film can get. Superb.

Quite intense and complicated with many layers, definitely need more than one viewing. A bit nerdy for non-classical music buffs at the beginning, but that sets up the characters. Excellent directing, acting, cinematography and editing. Cate Blanchett dominates (for us, in a good way).

I do not have enough superlatives to heave at 'TÁR'. While it is criminal that Todd Field went 16 years between projects, his third film is a masterwork that will haunt me for many moons.

Great movie!

Exceptional acting with a message that doesn't hit you over the head. The trailers are vague, maybe even misleading, and I was served better for it. Great film.

This being my first advance screening experience was interesting. But I thought the film was great in how it took it's time. Especially with it's long takes. It took me a second to realize that the climax just happened an was done in a second. Cate Blanchett was great. Everyone else was great. The directing an cinematography was great. The music was amazing it was great.
