This was an excellent film, and I highly recommend to everyone. You feel like you were there living every experience. This was the best film I’ve seen all year.

Superb . Great actors very well done director poinient story line.

This was another great film by Sam Mendes, who once again seems to be able to deal with the darkness in humanity (racism, abuse of those with mental illness) while still maintaining aspects of what makes people still worth hoping for. Olivia Colman can always be counted on to deliver a great performance; here she's matched by Michael Ward.

Beautiful film about human life and growing up.

Poetic & beautiful, even when depicting troubling attitudes of the period & complicated messiness of the lives depicted. Coleman is wonderful.

Exquisite, unique film that explored many topics in an innocent, beautiful way. It managed to pull off the delicate balance to create the perfect recipe for a story.

Best film this year

I loved it. It was a beautiful and moving story, but also timely, enraging and heartbreaking at times. Fantastic performances, gorgeous cinematography & production design. One of my new favorite Sam Mendes films.
