Real story about the struggles that a musician faces. #Social Music
Great movie with interesting jazz-like editing sequences!
Sensational. It's Social Movie.
Cheadle has a strong start at directing and portrays the multi-faceted personality of a great artist with finesse. Well done!
pretty good film.
An attempt which fails to deliver. While other filmmakers have successfully used cross-cutting to various times in a character's life, Mr. Cheadle and his editors do not. They create a confusing film.
Miles Ahead had a unique approach to telling Davis' storied life and from a filmmaking standpoint there isn't much to complain about. However, it isn't particularly interesting unless you love jazz or Don Cheadle. I don't care for jazz, so I didn't enjoy it as much as others.

Good! It was enjoyable and attention grabbing. After, when I got home, I wanted to listen to Miles Davis's music!
