Alice and Jack are lucky to be living in the idealized community of Victory, the experimental company town housing the men who work for the top-secret Victory Project and their families. The 1950’s societal optimism espoused by their CEO, Frank—equal parts corporate visionary and motivational life coach—anchors every aspect of daily life in the tight-knit desert utopia.
While the husbands spend every day inside the Victory Project Headquarters, working on the “development of progressive materials,” their wives—including Frank’s elegant partner, Shelley —get to spend their time enjoying the beauty, luxury and debauchery of their community. Life is perfect, with every resident’s needs met by the company. All they ask in return is discretion and unquestioning commitment to the Victory cause.
But when cracks in their idyllic life begin to appear, exposing flashes of something much more sinister lurking beneath the attractive façade, Alice can’t help questioning exactly what they’re doing in Victory, and why. Just how much is Alice willing to lose to expose what’s really going on in this paradise?

I really enjoyed this movie. In my opinion, the cast was very convincing, especially our leading lady, Miss Florence Pugh. She captivated the audience with the raw emotion that she’s able to portray on stage. Overall, this movie has led me to question some of the technological advances that we are making in our current/ real society.
To start off I want to give the cast a standing ovation \r, not one actor failed to give an Oscar worthy performance. It was the perfect amount of suspense where it kept you on the edge of your seat and entertained. The plot was perfect and was portrayed by these characters flawlessly. From a women’s pov the emotion was captured perfectly!
It was a really good movie. The cast was great and the story blew my mind a bit. However, the end was a bit of a cliffhanger and I have some questions regarding the story line. There were a few things in the story I feel like could’ve been developed a bit more. Overall I really enjoyed the movie, Florence did amazing as always and Harry did a great job. All of the cast did an amazing job.
kinda confusing, plot felt drawn out then squished in last 30 min, would watch again for sure but not top 10 movie. thought harry styles did pretty good considering this is his first major role, florence was absolutely amazing as well as chris pine. overall left feeling very weird but i enjoyed! also didn’t like the sex scenes those felt extremely unnecessary and forced
The person who set the screening up was cool
Hard to answer if I would recommend it to others. It depends on the person. I found this movie to be really problematic and don’t agree at all with Olivia Wilde that it is empowering to women. I will say though that Florence Pugh was absolutely amazing and it is one of those movies I kept thinking about after. Still though, it does leave a lot of plot holes and unanswered questions.
