I loved the fact that it did not play it safe when it comes to traditional horror movie rules. That and the bucket loads of gore didn't hurt either. Good performances all around and great characters I didn't want to see die. As a long time Evil Dead fan this is the direction I would love to see the series take going forward.

A fantastic movie. Honors the franchise before it while also pushing forward onto its own thing.

A Full Blooded face-melter freakout! Full of heart… and guts. Lots of both.
