BRIAN AND CHARLES follows Brian, a lonely inventor in rural Wales, who spends his days building quirky, unconventional contraptions that seldom work. Undeterred by his lack of success, Brian attempts his biggest project yet. Three days, a washing machine, and various spare parts later, he’s invented Charles, an artificially intelligent robot who learns English from a dictionary and has an obsession with cabbages. What follows is a humorous and entirely heartwarming story about friendship, family, finding love, and letting go.

A zany and wonderful film. Quite unique and most heartfelt!
Very charming and original movie. Funny and poignant. Excellent acting.
Refreshingly sweet movie for the whole family. A very nice picture about being a parent, but, specifically for me, about being a good father, about being a good friend to your progeny once they are old enough AND dealing with adversity in a good way. Ir's a good story well-told.
Such an heart touching story! Brian has such a pure heart and found an incredible connection with Charles that moved me. Him also finding genuine love was a bonus! I appreciated the many lessons in the film like appreciating where you are and who you have in y our life, we all the power to "fight back" to those who bully us and if someone is your true friend, you can always reconcile! Loved it all!!
Funny, intellectual, astute, stylish. In a world of hyper technology this introspection of human relationship with robots and other humans gives us hope. Nominate this film for an Oscar!
Even though it is a bit cheesy, it is a real feel good movie. There's always something satisfying about when the good guy wins in the end. Some cute and funny moments. Good acting all around. A lovely little film!
Heartwarming and quirky
