Lucille Ball (Nicole Kidman) and Desi Arnaz (Javier Bardem) are threatened by shocking personal accusations, a political smear, and cultural taboos in Academy Award-winning writer and director Aaron Sorkin's behind-the-scenes drama BEING THE RICARDOS. A revealing glimpse of the couple's complex romantic and professional relationship, the film takes audiences into the writers' room, onto the soundstage, and behind closed doors with Ball and Arnaz during one critical production week of their groundbreaking sitcom I Love Lucy. Featuring J.K. Simmons and Nina Arianda.

I thought it was very interesting to learn about the Ricardos relationship. I thought that Nicole Kidman wasn't as believable a Lucy and her voice slipped in and out, mostly out, with Lucy's actual voice. I thought that Javier Bardem was a fantastic Desi - accent very good and believable. Ethel and Fred were very good. We enjoyed the film on several levels.
The movie is great and the casting superb.
It was great to see the back stage scenes that the Ricardo’s lived.
The movie was done really well and in an interesting format. I've always loved Nicole Kidman but had my reservations about this role... But she won me over in the end. \r\r With such a long colorful career this could easily be a TV series in itself, But again the movie was framed in a very interesting manner and succeeds in keeping your attention for 2 plus hours easily.
Wonderful story with fabulous acting. Aaron Sorkin wrote a phenomenal screen play. Very enjoyable.
Being the Ricardos is fantastic - an interesting drama that details a week in the life of icons Lucy & Desi. It has sharp dialogue with lots of humor woven throughout and wonderful performances by all. Nicole Kidman brought Lucille back to life, she just knocked it out of the park!
I loved the movie! It was a prefect balance movie with real interviews, comedy and drama. The casting was great and it really showed me more to Richardo's and just how smart Lucy was.

an unexpectedly relevant and involving story from a surprisingly good director: Aaron Sorkin. \rI learned to appreciate and understand Lucy and Desi in a new way -- different and deeper than who I knew from their reruns. \rA very good movie I'll try to watch again
