If all the war type movies i have ever seen, this one felt the most "real" as opposed to over the top Hollywood. I very much enjoyed it and I typically am not a fan of war movies.
Great Canadian war movie
Gritty. Too real for this retired Soldier! Good story. Great Acting! If you like (Real) War Movies, this is a Must See!
It was the best Canadian made film I have ever seen. It was a fantastic movie that made you never want to take your eyes off the screen. It was a remarkable movie that showedthe real aspects of what a war camp looks like, and how this is a reality for many of our Canadian soldiers. It was wonderful movie that I would love to watch again, again, and again!
Excellent well acted, intense, film, not for the faint of heart. Thoroughly enjoyed movie, well worth seeing on the big screen. Paul Gross and Rossif Sutherland did amazing realistic performances.
This was one of the better movies that I have ever seen! I was very pleasantly surprised at the depth of the story, accuracy of the portrayal, and less Hollywoodish presentation. I came out of the theatre being very proud to serve in the Canadian Armed Forces and very glad to have never had to serve in Afghanistan. Two very large thumbs up!
Unabashedly Canadian! Great performances about the complexities and nuances of war. Superb!
