Seventeen-year-old Henry Page (Austin Abrams) has never been in love. He fancies himself a romantic, but the kind of once-in-a-lifetime love he’s been hoping for just hasn’t happened yet. Then, on the first day of senior year, he meets transfer student Grace Town (Lili Reinhart) and it seems all that is about to change. When Grace and Henry are chosen to co-edit the school paper, he is immediately drawn to the mysterious newcomer. As he learns the heartbreaking secret that has changed her life, he finds himself falling in love with her — or at least the person he thinks she is.

Lili Reinhart and Austin Abrams are so, so talented. As a fan of Lili's I immediately went to watch this movie for Lili but now I am coming out as a fan of Austin's. I would recommend EVERYONE to watch this movie if they get the chance. Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to watch this beautiful film, I am still crying.

This film was so down to earth, so incredibly real.\rIt is not often, that the spirit, the depth of a film truly portrayes the actual feelings of adolescence, the deep conflict, that period of time, that is so difficult to capture in an authentic, deep level. \rI have just turned 70 years old, and the film had the ability to capture me, to take me back to those thoughts, those feelings in that true period of conflict that is so confusing in one's own life. \rI loved every minute of this film, its honesty, the primal place that it was able to bring me back to.

Absolutely loved this film. Not your typical teen romance, FYI. Heartbreakingly brilliant performance by Lili Reinhart and the rest of the cast knocked it out of the park as well. Really smart, realistic teen dialogue/content and a very powerful and REAL message for all the young people out there.

I loved this movie soooo much! I didn’t know what to expect going into it because I didn’t read the book, I was immediately sucked in and watching the movie made me want to read the book. I enjoyed the actors, the story and the pacing of the movie, I shed a couple tears because it was a really heartbreaking movie. I’ll be recommending this to my family and watching it again once it premieres.
