It’s been 20 years since Neo, Morpheus, and Trinity transformed the modern sci-fi film game, and beginning August 30 for one week, fans will be able to check out The Matrix exclusively at one of 135+ Dolby Cinema at AMC locations around the U.S. This is the first time moviegoers can experience The Matrix in Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. With Dolby Vision, the picture comes alive with amazing brightness and darker darks, while Dolby Atmos ensures sounds that flows around moviegoers, including overhead.

Great seeing this in Dolby. Amazing picture and sound. Outside of the grain, it looks and sounds like it came out in 2019. And thanks for the red and blue donuts!
This Matrix is legendary
Great Classic. Its amazing to see it on the big screen remastered! DOLBY *********+++++++
The Matrix changed the way to film movies, it is still relevant, it worths to see it again (and again!)
LOVED THE DOLBY THEATRE! LOVED THE BLACKS ON THE SCREEN BEING SO DEFINED. WHAT AN EXPERIENCE!!!!!
Incredible film, highly impactful. This movie is a product of the societal consciousness of the time it was made, and it directly influenced popular culture after it was released. It is an iconic must-watch.
The Matrix is still impressive and wonderfully iconic; the Dolby version sharpens the colors and immerses you in its sounds. 20 years later, you may notice its age here and there, but the film holds well as a whole.

The new Dolby Theatre at Lincoln Square - and the new edit of the film itself - made this a fantastic experience! My daughter is 17 and hadnever seen it. We had a great time and the SFX were so much more exciting in this format. Definitely do yourself a favor and see this - since Matrix 4 will be here before you know it!
