I’ve heard about the story as a kid and of course it was horrible. But, the film goes more in-depth & brings out the rage that I know those young men & their families had to endure. I am glad the story is finally being told & they are alive to witness it.

EXCELLENT! AVA DID A GREAT JOB!!!

The portrayal of the injustice these young minority males and their families had to endure tore at my heart.Whats worst is realizing this is an everyday occurance when dealing with the judicial system. The performers brought these characters to life and made the audience feel their pain. I look forward to viewing the remaining two episodes.

A very touching and inspirational story that should change the political stance around race relations and policing in this country. A must see for all people.

Painful, brilliant, honest, relevant, amazing! Superb acting and directing. Bravo to Ava DuVernay!
