Thoroughly enjoyed this version of what may have transpired after Shakespeare's last play. The script was tight with meaningful foreshadowing. The performances were wonderful. I especially enjoyed the actress who played the role of Judith, as well as all the veteran actors. Candlelit rooms was a great directing choice and made it seem much more authentic to those times.

Surprisingly wonderful

A just and worthy tribute to the greatest wordsmith ever lived.

The movie was excellent and the acting was great. It was interesting to learn about Shakespeare”a life.

Meaningful, quietly powerful movie.

Excellent performance by Shakespeare and his wife. Cinematography was very good too.

Granted, this is a period piece & you expect parts of it to be slow, I found this film intriguing and compelling, as you're sat at the feet of a master scribe, and see his decline into his end.

Was an interesting perspective into a part of his life that he is not known for.
