Visceral. Nostalgic. Fantastic.

MID90S, written and directed by Jonah Hill, brings a clear air of nostalgia into every viewers mind. Even for the viewers that did not grow up in the 90’s. The skateboarding, sneakers, and the 4x3 ratio. That’s the 90s, but Hill takes it a step further by tapping into the human experience, and remind the viewers of what’s it’s like to want to belong. That’s MID90S.

This movie was a good surprise! Comedic, with solid moments of nostalgia, and empathy. Worth a watch. Characters were lovable, but real.

Loved it. It was so refreshing. Beautifully shot and acted. It was able to subtly convey the joy and pain of growing up better than any movie in recent memory.

A movie full of drama, Amazing!

That was a really good movie. The main character performed well.

It's a sweet little story about young boys of all ages and backgrounds with different traumas whom come together over their new or old love for skateboarding. I like how it's all about fitting in and that no matter how different they are, they accept each other in the end.

Difficult to watch at times but ultimately worth it.
