I think it’s one of the better RomComs to come out in recent years. It actually takes the best parts of iconic romcoms and creates its own unique perspective by basing it in Manchester. The writing was incredible along with the music and score. I will definitely tell everyone I know like it’s actually funny. The use of phones and the “tiktok” actually made sense for the story and not for the sake of having something “trendy” in a movie that was written by 50 year old executives. Will be seeing again in theaters.

I'm so happy we have a new, original romcom. At the surface you think it's just a movie about a guy and girl teaming up to find Emily but there's so much more to the film. From the music to the friendships and family dynamics to the current social issues. It was an enjoyable film from start to finish. Emily and Owen are a great pair to watch on screen my only complaint is that we didn't have more of them!! A movie that made me laugh and put my head in my hands. It was wonderful I really found this to be one of my favorite movies of the whole year.
