Totally loved it!

This is a powerful movie. The scenery is spectacular. The performances are engaging. The story line held my attention. The film is based on a book with the same name by Joseph Boyden. I commend Tina Keeper for bringing this project to life. Don McKellar did a superb job as director.

This movie was fabulous. The actors were spot on and the film was beautifully made. The story is very real, very accurate and very impactful. Many people in the theatre, including myself, were crying. It was such an amazing story and a fabulous movie. This movie should be made available more broadly to a larger audience!

Based on a novel. It’s a very powerful movie!

Great movie! Was sad in the end. I would definitely recommend my family and friends to check it out!

Very well done movie. Hats off to Don McKeller and his cast. It is a tense and truthful thriller.

A gripping must watch intense movie.

Very well done!! This movie kept us (my 15 year old daughter and myself) very captivated through its entirety. I hope there’s a sequel!
