Tom Hardy is one of my favorite actors, but beyond that the casting for all of the roles was very good. I enjoyed seeing Jenny Slate in a more serious role. The effects were also done very well and it aligned with my expectations on what a marvel movie especially an anti-hero move like this one. Tom Hardy was quirky and weird and it matched the humor of Venom's character.

Venom was a great movie. It starts out action packed and the visual effects were beyond amazing! My only disappointment is that I wanted the movie to be longer! However, in true Marvel fashion, they hint that we can look forward to another Venom movie and I can't wait!

I thought this movie was absolutely great! I was SO happy to finally see our black, symbiote friend on the big screen in a performance and vision of the character that does him justice. I would have like this movie to get the "R-rating" to make the movie even darker and show some of the scenes that were implied in the movie, like when Venom bit the goons' heads off. With Cletus Cassidy coming in a future sequel, I hope we can get that "R-rating" so we can see how insane Carnage will be.

The movie has its flaws, namely the dialogue and its campiness, but the CG held up and Tom Hardy's performance was excellent. The banter between Brock and Venom saved the movie for me. An overall enjoyable experience at the movies.

I was surprised that it did not have anything to do with Spiderman, nor followed the storyline that Spiderman's friend was taken over by the parasite. That said, it was a great movie. Loved the funny parts. Good tense and action parts as well. Surprising to find out Venom lived in symbiosis with Eddie and that together they might turn into a good guy. Looking forward to the sequel

The movie was awesome! Tom Hardy was great, it was a solid introduction and story arc for Venom. The charisma between Brock and alter-ego Venom is endearing and exciting. Every Marvel fan should go and enjoy this film!
