In Sicario: Day of the Soldado, the series begins a new chapter. In the drug war, there are no rules – and as the cartels have begun trafficking terrorists across the US border, federal agent Matt Graver (Josh Brolin) calls on the mysterious Alejandro (Benicio Del Toro), whose family was murdered by a cartel kingpin, to escalate the war in nefarious ways. Alejandro kidnaps the kingpin’s daughter to inflame the conflict – but when the girl is seen as collateral damage, her fate will come between the two men as they question everything they are fighting for.

It was a great movie! I thought it was very suspenseful and had the crowd into the movie the whole time. I was a little confused on the bombers at the beginning but other than that it was a great movie. I can’t wait for the next one. Send me an update when the next one comes out please!

Every one of Taylor Sheridan’s movies have been amazing and this was no less impressive. So intense you can’t look away, but the movie still feels real and raw. Amazing movie. Now I want to rewatch the first one.

The movie is pure adrenaline. Benicio and Brolin are incredible but the Sicario rising story was awesome and never felt forced. That kid that played the young Sicario was great

This movie was incredible!! I hadn't seen the first one and was worried that I might not be able to follow the story line; but that wasn't the case. The director did an amazing job and the acting was superb. The plot was very well thought out and executed flawlessly. Highly recommend watching this film. The best 2.5hrs you can spend at the theaters.
