Childhood friends Lily and Amanda reconnect in suburban Connecticut after years of growing apart. Lily has turned into a polished, upper-class teenager, with a fancy boarding school on her transcript and a coveted internship on her resume; Amanda has developed a sharp wit and her own particular attitude, but all in the process of becoming a social outcast. Though they initially seem completely at odds, the pair bond over Lily's contempt for her oppressive stepfather, Mark, and as their friendship grows, they begin to bring out one another's most destructive tendencies. Their ambitions lead them to hire a local hustler, Tim, and take matters into their own hands to set their lives straight.

It was very interesting and different but I like the scenario, to me it was a good movie
I'm not typically a fan of dark comedies, but I thought this was really well done. It was definitely unpredictable, and I came away thinking about the characters and who was the true "sick" one.
I thought it was a good movie. It was dark but very interesting. Acting was good and camera work great. That darn rowing machine was creepy as all get out!
Snappy script, very well-acted and directed.
I enjoyed the darkness and depth of the characters. The uncertainty of each's personalities really makes you question morality/evil at the end.
Great movie girls are beautiful hot lol
This film represents everything that the Focus Features banner stands for. It's bold, it's refreshingly artistic, it resonates. You've got to lock Cory Finley down because he is an artist with something to say.
