Lena, a biologist and former soldier, joins a mission to uncover what happened to her husband inside Area X - a sinister and mysterious phenomenon that is expanding across the American coastline. Once inside, the expedition discovers a world of mutated landscape and creatures, as dangerous as it is beautiful, that threatens both their lives and their sanity. From visionary director Alex Garland (Ex Machina, 28 Days Later) and based on the acclaimed best-selling Southern Reach Trilogy by Jeff VanderMeer, Annihilation stars Natalie Portman, Oscar Isaac, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Tessa Thompson, Gina Rodriguez and Tuva Novotny.

Thought provoking with some great visuals to add to the tension and wonderment.
Awesome movie from start to finish. Went in not really excited but left wanting more!
A great scientific roller coaster!
It was awesome!
Annihilation is one of the best Syfy Thriller books turned into a movie I've seen in a while, I would highly recommend this movie to everybody, I would even go watch it again!!
Prepare yourself for this film because it has a lot of surprising things that could shake you to the core and it's very strong. It also has a lot of references to many films, TV shows, and franchises and there's a reason why this got a 90% rating of Rotten Tomatoes. It was very shockingly surprising for the action in the film and you'll see what I mean when you watch this. It was really great.
very good movie

I am still conflicted on my opinion. But I think it is well crafted and one of the biggest challenge watches I’ve ever had, and I mean that in the best way possible.
