Global megastar Dwayne Johnson headlines the action adventure “Rampage,” directed by Brad Peyton. Primatologist Davis Okoye (Johnson), a man who keeps people at a distance, shares an unshakable bond with George, the extraordinarily intelligent, silverback gorilla who has been in his care since birth. But a rogue genetic experiment gone awry mutates this gentle ape into a raging creature of enormous size. To make matters worse, it’s soon discovered there are other similarly altered animals. As these newly created alpha predators tear across North America, destroying everything in their path, Okoye teams with a discredited genetic engineer to secure an antidote, fighting his way through an ever-changing battlefield, not only to halt a global catastrophe but to save the fearsome creature that was once his friend.

The bond shared between George and Davis was played very well in this movie. Kept me watching for more. The ending had a nice twist as well. CGI was very good as well.

I like the friendship between Davis and George. I also liked the surprise that someone I thought was going to be there foe Agent Russell was actually ally. Action all the way through. And not just action to blow things up, but the action organic and had a good flow.
This movie was a fantastic blend of action, tension, and comedy. One minute the crowd is tense and the next we are in a adrenaline pumping action scene. then it mellows out with well timed comedy. I loved this movie. I intend to go back with my younger siblings. Well done!
"Let me preface this by saying, I love the Rock! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you for allowing us to see this in 3D!"The relationship between primatologist David Okoye who rescues an albino Razorback from death. Okoye nurtures his new friend George and teaches him to communicate thru sign, Great action as a pathogen takes over George and two other animals. Conflict, battles, and humor!"
George was great! This film kind of reminds me of Mighty Joe Young
