During the winter of 1952, British authorities entered the home of mathematician, cryptanalyst and war hero Alan Turing (Benedict Cumberbatch) and ended up arresting Turing for the criminal offense of homosexuality - little did officials know, they were incriminating the pioneer of modern-day computing. Famously leading a group of scholars, linguists, chess champions and intelligence officers, he was credited with cracking the unbreakable codes of Germany's World War II Enigma machine. An intense and haunting portrayal of a brilliant, complicated man, THE IMITATION GAME follows a genius who under nail-biting pressure helped to shorten the war and, in turn, save thousands of lives.

Great movie. Fantastic cast. One recommendation to remove one of the facts at end of movie about number of Homosexuals being persecuted, not relevant to storyline and it broke up the flow of the film.
Excellent film! Beautifully shot in London, Cumberbatch did a phenomenal job displaying the complexity of one of the world's most underrated heroes.
Great story telling and fantastic acting.
The movie was phenomenal and I enjoyed it very much.
It was such a great movie, a moving story and it was really cool to have the q and a with the screen writer
great movie! If you liked A Beautiful Mind this has the same feeling.
Thought it was a very well done, moving film.

By far the best screening I have been to. The movie itself was a great story – in fact, I never heard of it until this movie. The screenplay was well written and characters played their respective roles very believable. In addition, the Q&A session at the end with the screenwriter was a great addition and I learned so much!
