As we slip into the middle of fall, this month’s box office is bringing back horror, fantasy and thrillers! Join us at the theaters for some seat-jumping, popcorn-eating, bathroom-holding fun!
First, we HAVE to talk about Venom, one of Marvel’s most “enigmatic, complex and badass characters.” All these comic books idolize superheroes and their divine powers, but the world has enough superheroes and now, it’s time for the baddies to take the stage! After becoming a host to an alien parasite, reporter Eddie Brock, played by actor Tom Hardy, isn’t like the beloved Spiderman we see in the Marvel Universe. For Venom, it’s all about being the antihero archetype.
If you’re looking for something more eerie, don’t miss the release of Suspiria! This mystery horror film follows the dark story of a world-renowned ballet company. Or if you want a screening to bring the little ones, Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween is comedy adventure that will give them good spook! Based on R.L. Stine’s best selling book series, 2 boys discover their quiet town is filled with witches, monsters and ghouls!
Screenings in October:
Bad Times At The El Royale
The Hate U Give
Serenity
First Man
Venom
Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween
A Star Is Born
Hunter Killer
Can You Ever Forgive Me?
Beautiful Boy
Suspiria
What goes great with watching free movies at the theaters? Winning movie merchandise and exclusive prizes!
