Oscar Season is Here!
With the holidays comes the pre-Oscar season. This is the time of the year when the biggest movies of the year are released and hope to be recognized by the Academy. This year, films have been released since October that wish to be recognized, which seems to happen every year, but it’s the films that are released closer to December that seem to really be hoping for an Oscar nod. This year, of course, many a movie are hoping to get a few Oscar nods and surprisingly compare to last year, most came out before December.

Other films that are Oscar hopefuls this year are Loving, Hell or High Water, and A Monster Calls. But these aren’t the only movies that are contenders to win a small golden statue. There are the long shots that are hopeful to get an Oscar nod. Those include Passengers and Patriot’s Day, which are coming out in December.
