Cristobal (‘The Padre,’ Tim Roth) is a small time con man drifting from town to town in Colombia on the run from his dogged pursuers Nemes (Nick Nolte) and Gaspar (Luis Guzman). He steals a car, in the back seat of which - unbeknownst to him - is a 16 year old girl. When he tries to kick her out she blackmails him into taking her with him. To Lena (Valerie Henriquez), this is the most exciting thing in her life; she was dying to escape her small hometown. Together they go on a road trip, planning Cristobal’s biggest heist yet while trying to stay one step ahead of Nemes.
