Bali: Beats of Paradise is an original documentary that pulls back the curtain on Nyoman Wenten, a celebrated Indonesian composer who sets out to pay homage to Bali's sacred traditional music: Gamelan. Having spent 40 years in the US teaching and performing Gamelan, Wenten is now weeks away from retirement when he begins collaborating with Grammy Award-winning pop singer Judith Hill in hopes of making a viral music video that catapults Gamelan into the digital age.
