It was amazing and did not disappoint. Even the water thing's outfit was very 50s, as in when they tried to make scary movies back in the days and they turned out cheap but good. This brought about a collective cinematic nostalgia, complemented by little Shirley Temple and the international music details. Loved it.

Best movie I've seen this year, and in Guillermo's filmography second only to Pan's Labyrinth.

Loving, fun movie with lots of heart and a good message. I can't wait to see it again.

Incredible all around

Really enjoyed this movie. So different from a lot of flicks out there right now, but the core was the same boy meets girl...There were so many aspects of this film that just hit right. The characters were all wonderfully portrayed - the actors did a great job. I think what stayed with me the most was how the characters were there for each other, a generosity of spirit and caring for each other.

i really liked this film. it was a rom-com and thriller all wraped up into one. the comic scenes were hillarios. and such a good storyline between the 2. can't say enough about this film. IT'S A MUST SEE!!!!!
