Absolutely, the special effects were amazing. The director did a wonderful job setting the tone with the 1st scene. It was so simple and completely unexpected. The backstory was done at a steady pace, without being predictable. The actors gave their characters a complexity not normally scene in a action movies. I really enjoyed seeing the film.
