It was all the things! It was funny, heartwarming and relatable. There was an array of fun, big-name cameos and familiar faces throughout. Alana Haim was incredible and so authentically weird. I would definitely recommend this movie to friends and family. Also a great date night movie!

Great movie and cast especially Alana Haim! Totally entertaining from beginning to end. Loved Sean Penn and Bradley Cooper AMD the fact that Alanas’ whole family played her family in the film. Will definitely recommend to family and friends. This will be one of those films that I will keep in my library when it’s available and watch over and over again!

Ms Haim is magnetic and fierce, and Mr Hoffman is able to match her with confidence and naturalness. Mr Anderson's use of both the Valley in the 70s as backdrop, along with lingering close-ups impossible to look away from, makes the story both universal and intimate.

A 20-something woman who is both fascinated and repulsed by a teenage boy with a gift of gab who has yet to start shaving - somehow, it works ! Alana Haim is a surprisingly good actress (and deserves her Golden Globe nomination), as is Cooper Hoffman. Lots of interesting cameos, including Bradley Cooper as celebrity hairdresser Jon Peters. Highly recommended !
