By the Sea follows an American writer named Roland (Pitt) and his wife, Vanessa (Jolie Pitt), who arrive in a tranquil and picturesque seaside resort in 1970s France, their marriage in apparent crisis. As they spend time with fellow travelers, including young newlyweds Lea (Laurent) and François (Poupaud), and village locals Michel (Arestrup) and Patrice (Bohringer), the couple begins to come to terms with unresolved issues in their own lives. In its style, and its treatment of themes of the human experience, By the Sea is inspired by European cinema and theater of the '60s and '70s.

This was an awesome experience! The makeup artist who did my eye makeup was super nice. I love my makeup look. I may try out the Ulta collection in the near future. I also grabbed a Sol De Janeiro 91 mist from their station! I love it!

The VIP experience looked really fun and I wish I could have tried one of the brand experiences but I got advised to leave because they were putting a bunch of VIPs in line in front of me. But the movie was fun!

Everyone working the event had great customer service! Theater was nice & comfortable. However, the brand activations seemed a bit random and unrelated to Supergirl. It would’ve been nice to see a cohesive theme or relation to the movie as well as a more dedicated space for attendees. Some ring lights/a phone stand in front of the backdrop would’ve led to great content and more people actively promoting the branding. Enjoyed the screening but wish I skipped Ulta.
